America Earth Quake: సోమవారం దక్షిణ కాలిఫోర్నియాను 5.1 తీవ్రతతో బలమైన భూకంపం తాకిందని అమెరికా భూవిజ్ఞాన శాస్త్రవేత్తలు తెలిపారు.ఈ భూకంపం జూలియన్‌కు దక్షిణంగా 2.5 మైళ్లు (నాలుగు కిలోమీటర్లు) కేంద్రీకృతమై ఉందని, ఇది అమెరికా మెక్సికో సరిహద్దు నుండి 20 మైళ్ల దూరంలో ఉందని, ఎనిమిది మైళ్ల లోతులో ఉందని యుఎస్ జియోలాజికల్ సర్వే డేటా వెల్లడించింది.

భూకంపం తర్వాత వరుసగా చిన్న చిన్న ప్రకంపనలు సంభవించాయి.నష్టం జరిగినట్లు ప్రస్తుతానికి ఎలాంటి నివేదికలు లేవు.దక్షిణ కాలిఫోర్నియాలో అనేక పెద్ద భూకంపాలు సంభవించాయి, వాటిలో 1994లో లాస్ ఏంజిల్స్ ప్రాంతంలో నార్త్‌రిడ్జ్‌ను తాకిన భూకంపం చాలా మందిని పొట్టన పెట్టుకుంది.అంతేకాకుండా వేలాది మందిని తీవ్ర గాయాల పాలుచేసి నిరాశ్రయులను చేసింది. బిలియన్ల డాలర్ల నష్టాన్ని కలిగించింది.
