BIG BREAKING: న్యూజిలాండ్‌లో భారీ భూకంపం

న్యూజిలాండ్‌లో మంగళవారం భారీ భూకంపం సంభవించింది. పశ్చిమ తీరంలో 6.2 తీవ్రతతో భూమి కంపించింది. ప్రస్తుతానికి సునామీ హెచ్చరికలు ఏమి జారీ చేయలేదు. స్థానిక కాలమానం ప్రకారం.. తెల్లవారుజామున 1 గంటకు భూకంపం సంభవించిందని యుఎస్ జియోలాజికల్ సర్వే తెలిపింది.

న్యూజిలాండ్‌లోని ఇన్వర్‌కార్గిల్‌కు నైరుతి దిశలో 300 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో సముద్రం అడుగున 10 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో భూకంపం కేంద్రం ఉంది. ప్రాథమికంగా నష్టాన్ని ఇంకా నివేదించలేదు. న్యూజిలాండ్‌లో 5 మిలియన్ల జనాభా ఉంది. భూకంపాలు, అగ్నిపర్వతాలు సర్వసాధారణమైన పసిఫిక్ మహాసముద్రం చుట్టూ ఉన్న రింగ్ ఆఫ్ ఫైర్‌లో ఈ దేశం ఉంది.
